Multiple sources are reporting that both a husband and a wife were killed in a car accident that happened in Bay County’s Pinconning Township.

According to Michigan State Police troopers, they responded to the scene of an accident at about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday. Sergeant Duane Zook stated that 50-year-old Donald Raber and 65-year-old Denise Raber were both pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

State police have also stated that a 39-year-old woman who was driving a pickup truck ran a stop sign and then collided with the couple’s sports car at a 90 degree angle, which then hit a utility pole and rolled over.

The driver of the pickup truck and a 33-year-old passenger were both taken to a hospital in Bay City to be treated for their injuries that were not life threatening.
