Two Motorcyclists Die after Head-on Hit by Oncoming Car

According to the Stevens Point Journal, a fatal collision on Saturday afternoon in Pine Valley, Wisconsin, leaves two motorcyclists dead and a driver injured.

Crash Investigation Ongoing

Police say two people on a motorcycle traveled eastbound on U.S. Highway 10 at around 1:00 p.m. local time when the accident occurred. A car traveling west on Highway 10 crossed the center line and crashed head-on with the motorcycle.

Both riders were ejected from the motorcycle and sustained fatal injuries, according to the Stevens Point Journal. The driver of the car received an airlift to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash occurred a few miles west of Neillsville, reports the Stevens Point Journal. Officials closed all lanes of Highway 10 as they investigated the incident. The investigation is still ongoing, and the identities of the deceased motorcyclists have not been released.
