Woman, Toddler Killed in Texas Crash  

A woman and a toddler were killed Friday as a result of a three-vehicle crash near Van Zandt County. Several others were injured in the collision.

Details of the Fatal Texas Crash

According to reports, the crash occurred around 9:55 pm Friday on Interstate 20.

A preliminary investigation suggests a Ford F-350 was traveling eastbound on I-20 when it rear-ended a Ford Taurus. The force of the initial impact caused the Taurus to crash into the back of an Audi.

Two passengers of the Taurus, Whitney Brewer McGaughey, 33, and a 20-month-old baby, were killed in the collision. The driver of the Taurus, Michael Shawn McGaughey, 32, was transported to Tyler hospital with critical injuries.

Several passengers of the Audi, identified as Alison Kravetz, 47, Deanne Kravetz, 79, and three children, ages 13, 12, and 10, were also injured in the crash.

The driver of the Audi, David Hemple, 44, and the driver of the F-350, Terry Donte Rose, 48, were not injured in the collision.

The accident remains under investigation, and it is unclear if charges will be filed.
