A young girl was critically injured in a skateboarding accident that happened over the weekend.
Details about the Skateboarding Accident
KENS 5 News is reporting that a 10-year-old girl was rushed to a local hospital after she was hit by a vehicle while she was skateboarding, according to the San Antonio police department.
San Antonio police have stated that the scene of the accident that the girl was alone on her skateboard near Loop 1604 and Gold Canyon Drive at around 11 p.m. on Saturday when the accident happened.
The driver of the vehicle pulled over right away. When police and emergency crews arrived at the scene of the accident, they found the girl unconscious.
The girl was then transported to the hospital in critical condition. At this time, no charges are expected to be filed against the driver because the driver did immediately pull over to render aid.
