One man was injured in a hit and run boating accident that happened over the weekend.

NBC Miami is reporting that part of a man’s leg had to be amputated after being involved in an accident that officials are describing as a hit and run boating accident that happened in St. Augustine.
According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Logan Farquhar lost part of his leg after being involved in a ski boat accident in which a ski boat struck the boat he was riding in on Saturday evening,
Billie Inman, fiancé of Farquhar, stated that the propeller of the ski boat cut off her fiancé’s lower leg. Inman further stated that the driver of the ski boat fled the scene after the accident. Officials have stated that the suspect was eventually located and questioned, and could possibly face criminal charges.
