On June 9th, a young woman was arrested for DUI in Washington State after crashing a school bus and injuring six children.
Details of the Washington Bus Crash
The vehicle driven by a 21-year-old woman identified as Kayla Jones hit the Lake Chelan school bus, minutes before 9:00 am Thursday.
Washington State officials announced six children were taken to the hospital for minor injuries including shoulder and neck pain. There were 50 students on the bus at the time of the accident.
Authorities are continuing their investigation of the accident. Jones has been charged with driving under the influence.
