Car Accident Causes Three Fatalities and Power Outage

A motor vehicle accident in St. Louis resulted in the death of three people and left some without power.

Details about the Fatal Accident

According to FOX News St. Louis, the St. Louis County Police Department’s North County Precinct responded to an accident near the intersection of Shackelford Road and Kingsford Drive. The accident occurred just before midnight Friday night and three people were killed. A pick-up truck going north on Shackelford road tried to make a turn and struck an oncoming vehicle going south. The driver of the south-bound vehicle was dead on the scene while the other two passengers were transported to the hospital and later pronounced dead.

The car accident took down a power pole which left people in the area without power overnight. The accident is under investigation by the St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes against Persons, Crime Scene Unit, and Accident Reconstruction Team. The driver cooperated with the investigators.
