Chicken Nuggets Recalled for Rubber Pieces

Tyson Foods has recalled over 36,000 pounds of frozen chicken nuggets due to rubber contamination.

About the Chicken Nugget Recall

According to Fortune.com, consumers have reported finding pieces of soft blue rubber in Tyson Foods’ frozen chicken nuggets.

Due to the contamination, Fortune.com advises disposing of the affected product or returning it for a refund at the place of purchase.

Description of Recalled Chicken Nuggets

The following information was provided by Tyson Foods:

  • The recall applies to Tyson Fully Cooked Panko Chicken Nuggets.
  • The product comes frozen in five-pound bags with the Tyson logo on the front. The bags are brown with images of chicken nuggets on them.
  • The recalled products have the “best if used by” date of November 26, 2019, the case code 3308SDL03, and a time stamp ranging from 23:00 to 01:59. The “best by” date is located on the back of the package in the upper left-hand corner.
  • According to Tyson, the nuggets were shipped to Arizona, California, Illinois, New Jersey, and Utah.
