Construction Worker Injured in Fall off of Roof

According to WGNS, a man was injured on the job after falling from a roof of a house in Barfield, Tennessee, on Wednesday morning.

Details of Workplace Accident

The incident occurred at around 10:00 a.m. local time at the Plano Court subdivision off of Barfield Crescent Road. Officials say the construction worker fell around 12 feet to the ground from the top of a house that was being built, losing consciousness as a result.

Other workers claim the worker regained consciousness after the fall, reports WGNS. The man appeared to have suffered a severe head injury in the fall.

The man was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, according to WGNS. The condition of the construction worker is currently unknown.
