Crash on Highway 6 Leaves One Dead, Several Injured

One person is dead and several others are injured as a result of a single-vehicle crash that occurred in Falls County Wednesday evening.

About the Fatal Falls County, Texas Crash

While the name of the deceased has not been released pending notification of his family, DPS did confirm the victim was from the Houston area.

According to KWTX, the victim was rushed to an area hospital Wednesday following the accident, but he succumbed to his injuries early Thursday. In all, six people were involved in the rollover accident and three people were listed in critical condition.

Some of the vehicle’s occupants were ejected from the vehicle. All occupants were described as being college aged.

The crash occurred on Texas Highway 6 near Marlin. Investigators suspected the SUV experienced a tire blow.
