D.C. Bus Accident Leaves 1 Dead, 4 Injured

A woman is dead and four others are injured following a collision between a Metrobus and a passenger vehicle.

Details of the D.C. Metro Bus Accident

According to NBC4 TV, the accident occurred around 2:35 pm Thursday when a car crashed into the back of a Metrobus stopped on Naylor Road. The driver of the car, Debra Finley, 57, was fatally injured.

A passenger in the car along with the bus driver and two bus passengers sustained non-life-threatening injuries. 17 passengers were on the bus when the collision occurred.

Additional details concerning the types and severity of injuries suffered were not immediately available, and the crash remains under investigation.
