Los Angeles Police Detectives (LAPD) uncovered details of the tragic event in a recent report by Los Angeles Daily News. Reportedly, a 20-year-old driver cruising about in a pickup truck was the primary cause of the deaths. After carelessly rushing into oncoming traffic, the 2007 Chevrolet truck lost full control and crashed into a white van.
The pickup truck also flipped over from the force of the crash and was thrust into two other parked cars. Ultimately, the incident caused the driver as well as his two passengers to be stuck inside the vehicle until emergency services were available to help.
Los Angeles coroners found the identities of the two passengers to be brothers Luis E. Perez, 16, and Cesar A. Perez, 19
The 20-year-old driver and associate of the brothers, Pablo Ramon Trujillo, was accused and put under arrest for murder. As the sole survivor of the crash, he suffered no major injuries.
