Driver Charged after Crash Kills Motorcyclist

According to WYFF4, a motorcyclist died after a collision with a pickup truck in Greenville, South Carolina, on Wednesday.

Details of the Motorcycle Wreck

Police say Charles O’Shields, 67, rode his Harley Davidson motorcycle down Rutherford Road at around 3:00 p.m. local time when the accident occurred. A pickup truck driver pulled onto Rutherford Road and in front of O’Shields, reports WYFF4.

O’Shields crashed into the truck and was thrown from his motorcycle. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

WYFF4 reports that the driver of the pickup truck is charged for failure to yield the right of way.
