According to WSFA, a Florida woman is dead after being struck by a drunk driver that crashed through her house.

Driver has Long Criminal History

Janice Folds and her husband, Wyatt, were in their kitchen starting their morning routine. It was just like any other morning in their Lakeland, Florida, home.

The drunk driver, Ryan Tallent, had been weaving in his lane before the crash occurred. According to WSFA, he lost control of his pickup truck, swerved to miss a tree and crashed into the Folds’ house instead.

Tallent crashed through several rooms before coming to rest in the Folds’ kitchen. WSFA reports that Janice Folds died on impact. Investigators say Tallent has a long rap sheet, including an arrest for drunk driving and causing damage and injury in 2009.
