Elderly Woman Injured in Two-Car Crash in San Antonio

According to the San Antonio Express-News, an elderly woman suffered from injuries in a car crash in San Antonio, near Alamo Heights, on Thursday afternoon.

Details of the Injury Accident

A woman in her 60s crashed into another vehicle in the 2500 block of Broadway Street. The woman struck a black car with her blue SUV, causing her to flip her SUV onto its side.

The San Antonio Express-News reports that the woman required extrication from her SUV with the Jaws of Life. She received treatment at San Antonio Military Medical Center for serious injuries.

Officials aren’t expected to hand out a citation to either driver, reports the San Antonio Express-News, and the driver of the black car did not require treatment for injuries.
