Father and Daughter Killed in Collision with 18-Wheeler

A father and daughter from Gadsden, Alabama were killed in a collision with an 18-wheeler on I-59 in Etowah County, Alabama.

About the Fatal Etowah County Crash

WIAT reports that the two people killed in the crash were Anna Elaine Holthof, 21, who was driving, and her father Roy Michael Holthof, 59. Both died at the scene of the accident.

The crash occurred around 9:05 p.m. on I-59 when the pair’s 2002 Chevrolet collided with an 18-wheeler. The driver of the 18-wheeler did not sustain any injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
