Flatbed Truck Slams into Passenger Bus, Injuring 15

According to The New York Post, a flatbed truck crashes into a bus, injuring more than a dozen passengers in Queens, New York, on Monday morning.

Details of the Truck-Bus Collision

The accident occurred at the intersection of South Road and Waltham Street at around 11:54 a.m. local time. The semi collided with the passenger bus as it reached the intersection.

According to The New York Post, the flatbed driver claims the responsibility should be on the bus driver, who sped down Waltham Street and swerved when he saw the flatbed. Emergency crews took 14 passengers on the bus and the bus driver to the hospital for treatment.

The passengers and driver sustained only minor injuries, reports The New York Post. Police have not issued charges to either the truck or the bus driver.
