Four people lived through a car crash involving the vehicle being split in half after a young male driver lost control of the car and struck a light pole.
The driver, a 22-year-old male, lost control of the car which ended up launching into the air before slamming into a TXDOT light pole. The impact caused the car to be split into two pieces. The three passengers of the car as well as the driver escaped the scene alive with non-fatal injuries.
Authorities reported no other cars were involved in the accident and attribute the accident to speeding and driving under the influence. Authorities have charged the driver with a DWI.
