Creative Sourcing International, Inc., is recalling the HAUS ZapBulb, a 2-in-1 mosquito zapper LED light bulb, due to a potential electrical shock hazard.

About the Recalled HAUS Mosquito Zapper Light Bulb

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the recalled HAUS ZapBulb is due to the light bulb’s base separating from the connector, causing a potential shock hazard.

Two reports of the bulb separating from the connector have been made, but no injuries or damage has been associated with the recalled bulb. The recall involves nearly 12,000 units.

Consumers should stop using the recalled HAUS ZapBulb immediately and contact Creative Sourcing International, Inc., for a free replacement. In addition, Creative Sourcing will reimburse consumers who required a professional electrician to remove the bulb.

Description of the Recalled HAUS Mosquito Zapper Light Bulb

The 2-in-1 mosquito zapper LED light bulbs are a 10-watt bulb with a white grid housing, measuring 3.1 inches high, 3.1 inches wide, and 6.1 inches deep. The housing includes a blue light to attract insects and an LED light below for normal lighting. Only bulbs without any markings or labels are included in the recall.
