According to WUSA 9, a major car pile-up, multiple crashes, and traffic delays recently occurred in Maryland. 58 cars were involved in these sudden mishaps on the I-68 the Sunday, December 1st.
The cause of all this mayhem was surprisingly due to a heavy fog. The car crash incidents were so severe, that they delayed traffic for approximately 6 miles. Roads were immediately closed during this time period from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The MSP have also stated that ten people were sent to Western Maryland Health System residing in Cumberland, Maryland. Fortunately, these victims did not harbor serious, life threatening injuries.
