Houston Police Believe Woman Killed in Crash Involved in Altercation

According to ABC 13, a woman is dead after she slammed into a large metal sign post along a frontage road in southwest Houston around 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning.

Woman Involved in Chase, says Eyewitnesses

Eyewitnesses told ABC 13 that shortly before the fatal accident, the woman involved in the wreck was speeding down Southwest Freeway along with other cars. Police believe that she was involved in an altercation with one of the other vehicles.

Police are unsure if the woman and the other vehicles were involved in a chase, road rage, or a race. According to ABC 13 reporting, the police indicated that there were paint scrapes alongside the deceased woman’s SUV.
