Jogger Hospitalized after Hit by Truck

According to KXII, Danielle Pilkilton was jogging with her husband, Gerald, when she was hit by a truck on Monday night.

Pilkilton was flown to a Plano hospital with serious conditions, including multiple fractures in her face and skull and injuries to her shoulders and leg, her husband told KXII.

A woman who called 911 says she spoke with the driver of the truck, an elderly man who said he never saw Pilkilton until it was too late.

Pilkilton is an English Teacher at Howe High School. According to Denison police, no one has been ticketed as the investigation is still ongoing, reports KXII.
