An ongoing investigation of the suspicions of Salmonella outbreak among Central Valley Meat Co. has been underway since September 9, 2019. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) along with FSIS and other local public health establishments have discovered 10 Central Valley Meat consumer patient cases with Salmonella infections throughout six states. FSIS is working diligently to study this outbreak as well as cautioning consumers to check their freezers and homes for Central Valley Meat Co. products produced in July 2019.
