Logging Truck Smashes into Building, Several Cars; Seven People Injured

According to WSPA, seven people were hospitalized in a crash involving a logging truck in Greer, South Carolina, on Friday afternoon.

Details of Trucking Accident

The injury accident occurred at around 2:00 p.m. local time at a building off of Highway 14 and Chandler Road. A logging truck was involved in a crash in the roadway, causing it to smash into Jimmy’s Garage. The truck flipped onto its side and had the cab stuck inside the building.

Two men were trapped inside the truck after the crash, reports WSPA. Seven people total were hospitalized in the crash – two were from the logging truck. Officials say none of the injuries are considered life-threatening.

Eleven cars were involved in the accident, according to WSPA. Four of the vehicles were in the roadway and seven were parked at Jimmy’s Garage. Highway 14 was closed for several blocks and is expected to remain closed for several hours.
