WBTW News is reporting that 25-year-old James Martin Hudson has been charged by police with felony DUI after an accident on Sunday in Florence that killed a woman.

The two-vehicle accident in Florence closed Alligator Road for several hours on Sunday.

According to Major Carlos Raines, of the Florence Police Department, the fatal accident investigation unit was present at the scene of the accident.

It was determined that 37-year-old Lisa Marie Sessions, of Timmonsville, was killed in the accident, according to the Florence County Coroner.

The crash remains under investigation by the Florence Police Department and the Florence County Coroner’s Office. A bond hearing is planned to be held on Monday afternoon for James Martin Hudson.
