Man Faces DWI Charges after Crashing Truck into Storefront Near Bar

According to the San Antonio Express-News, a man faces drunk driving charges after crashing his truck into a store on San Antonio’s West Side on Thursday morning.

Details of the Drunk Driving Wreck

Rene Belmarez Maldonado, 35, left Doc Brown’s Bar on Loop 1604 near Culebra Road at around 1:45 a.m. Maldonado, allegedly drunk, crashed his pickup truck into the Dollar Tree located in the same plaza as Doc Brown’s.

Nobody sustained injuries in the crash, reports the San Antonio Express-News. Maldonado faces a class B misdemeanor charge of DWI.
