MHP Finally Identifies Child Found Dead in Rankin County Multi-Vehicle Crash

The Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) has finally identified the deceased 7-year-old child who was killed in a multi-vehicle accident that occurred in Rankin County. 

Details of the Rankin County Multi-Vehicle Crash

According to the MHP officials, there were five vehicles involved in the wreck that took away the life of the young boy. An Infiniti SUV and an 18-wheeler were driving westbound along Highway 18 when the 18-wheeler and eastbound Ford F-150 collided with each other. 

Shaken by the collision, the F-150 lost total control, and the Infiniti SUV struck it. The debris emanated from the crashed damaged a Chevrolet Equinox and Chevrolet Tahoe that was traveling eastbound. 

Reportedly, three people have been taken to a nearby hospital. The crash is presently under investigation.
