Motorcyclist Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Crash with Car

According to the New Hampshire Register, a man on a motorcycle sustained life-threatening injuries after colliding with a car at an intersection in Branford, Connecticut, on Sunday afternoon.

Details of the Injury Accident

A 52-year-old man rode his motorcycle eastbound on Main Street at around 4:30 p.m. when the accident occurred. An oncoming car traveling westbound struck the motorcyclist as he attempted to take a left turn onto Mill Plain Road.

The New Hampshire Register reports that the motorcyclist suffered from potentially life-threatening injuries. The 79-year-old driver of the car did not receive injuries in the crash.

Officials shut down the area for more than six hours following the accident as the investigation took place into the cause of the crash. Police did not cite or arrest the driver of the car, reports the New Hampshire Register.
