North Texas Head-On Collision Kills Two

Two people were killed in a head on collision that happened on Thursday morning.

Details about the Fatal Head-On Collision

The Star-Telegram is reporting that the drivers of two vehicles were killed in a head-on wrong-way collision that happened at about 4:40 a.m. on Thursday along the 2000 block of Texas 114 in Grapevine.

According to a Grapevine Police Department Spokesman, Texas 114 was shut down due to the investigation for a little bit longer than four hours before it was reopened at 8:50 a.m. on Thursday morning.

In a press release, police say that a silver Toyota Rav 4, which was being driven by a 26-year-old male from Grapevine was heading west in the eastbound lanes of Texas 114, when the Toyota hit a Pontiac Sunfire, which was being driven by a 52-year-old male from Fort Worth.

The wrong-way driver was pronounce dead at the scene of the accident and the driver of the Pontiac was taken to the hospital via ambulance where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
