Officials Identify Man Killed in San Antonio Crash

Authorities have identified a man killed in a two-vehicle accident in northwest San Antonio on Sunday.

Details of the Fatal San Antonio Collision

According to KSAT, 24-year-old Edwin Gonzalez was killed when the vehicle he was a passenger in was struck by another vehicle in the 8100 block of Potranco Road, near the intersection of West Military Drive.

Preliminary reports stated that the car Gonzalez was a passenger in was attempting to turn when it was T-bone by another vehicle. Witnesses at the scene told police the light appeared to be changing colors at the time of the crash.

Gonzalez was rushed to the hospital following the accident, but succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the vehicle that was carrying Gonzalez was also transported to the hospital in serious condition.

Two occupants of the second vehicle were transported to University Hospital, but are expected to be OK.
