2 Hurt in Chevron Phillips Refinery Fire
Two workers were injured Monday evening after a fire broke out at the Chevron Phillips refinery in Port Arthur.
Details of the Port Arthur Refinery Fire
According to reports, two workers were injured in what Port Arthur authorities are calling a flash fire at the Chevron Phillips refinery.
While the Chevron Phillips has confirmed that the fire took place, officials would not speculate on a possible cause for the incident. The company did state that the situation did not pose a threat to residents in the area.
One of the injured workers was flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas where he is recovering.
