One Dead, One Injured in Austin Crash

A man was killed and another person was injured after a car crash in Austin Saturday night.

Details of the Fatal Austin Crash

According to KXAN, the fatal auto accident occurred in the 1300 block of West Anderson Lane near Tisdale Drive around 10:30 pm Saturday.

Police say the crash involved a pickup and a Honda Civic; however, they did not indicate how the crash occurred or who might be at fault.

Austin-Travis County EMS pronounced the driver of the Honda Civic dead at the scene. A person in the truck was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.

    • One person was killed in a traffic crash in Texas every 2 hours and 20 minutes.
    • One person was injured every 1 minute and 59 seconds.
    • A reportable crash occurred every 57 seconds.
