One Dead, One Injured in Fiery Three-Car Wreck

According to WINK News, one person died and another was injured in a multiple-vehicle crash on the Michael G. Rippe Parkway in Fort Myers, Florida.

Details of the Fatal Wreck

A man traveling southbound on the parkway nearly drifted off the right side of the highway but overcorrected. Pascal Davis, 29, then lost control of his car and entered the northbound lanes where he struck another vehicle head-on.

Another car traveling northbound approached the wreck and crashed into the second car. According to WINK News, the second car burst into flames after the second collision. The passenger in the second car, Erin Gorney, 26, died from her injuries. The driver of that car, John Anderson, 33, suffered serious injuries and received treatment for them at Lee Memorial Hospital.

WINK News reports that Pascal and the driver of the third car did not receive injuries in the fatal crash.
