One Dead, One Injured in Two-Car Collision

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, a man died in a two-vehicle collision, causing his car to roll over and eject him from the vehicle Thursday morning in Marietta, Georgia.

Details of Fatal Crash

Brian Kibler, 43, drove his red BMW southbound on Interstate 75 at around 4:04 a.m. when the accident occurred. Kibler lost control of his vehicle and struck a gray Infiniti near North Marietta Parkway, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The collision caused Kibler’s car to flip multiple times on the highway, eventually throwing Kibler from the vehicle. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Kibler died at the scene of the wreck.

The driver of the gray Infiniti, 28-year old Nicholas Boyett, sustained minor injuries and received treatment at WellStar Kennestone Hospital.

Morning traffic remained slow throughout the morning hours following the crash.
