One Dead, Three Injured in Conroe Crash

A woman is dead and three people are injured following a two-vehicle crash in Conroe, Texas.

About the Fatal Conroe Crash

KHOU reports the crash occurred around 1 am Sunday when a 17-year-old boy lost control of a pick-up, crossed into oncoming traffic, and crashed into a Lexus sedan.

The Lexus attempted to evade oncoming pickup but was unable to avoid the collision.

Four people were in the Lexus, a husband and wife and their mothers. One of the mothers died at the scene and the three other occupants were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The teen was hospitalized in stable condition.

Authorities are working to determine if alcohol was a factor in the accident.
