One Motorcyclist Killed, another Injured in Crash with Car

According to NewsTalk 1290, a woman is dead and a man injured after a car crashes into their motorcycle in Wichita Falls, Texas, on Monday night.

Details of the Fatal Motorcycle Wreck

The two motorcycle riders traveled west on 9th Street near Broad Street when the fatal wreck occurred. Kaylee Pennington, 18, traveled northbound on Broad Street in a Mazda vehicle when she struck the motorcyclists at around 7:00 p.m.

Police say the motorcyclists, Carol Huskey, 59, and Randy Doyle, 50, sustained serious injuries in the collision and were transported to United Regional hospital. According to NewsTalk 1290, Pennington also received treatment at a local hospital. The extent of her injuries are unknown, but they are not believed to be life-threatening.

Huskey later died from her injuries, reports NewsTalk 1290. The cause of the fatal incident is still under investigation.
