According to KTXS, one man is dead and two others seriously injured after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 277 in Taylor County, Texas, Saturday morning.
Wet Roads May Have Played Factor in Wreck
A driver in a pickup truck traveling north on Highway 277 lost control and crossed into the southbound lane, hitting a car traveling south. The driver of the car, 20-year-old Austin McCombs, was killed, and his passenger, 41-year-old Joseph Bradley, was seriously injured in the wreck.
According to a Texas DPS spokesperson, rain-slick roads may have helped cause the fatal crash.
The driver of the pickup, William Adamson, 42, was also injured in the accident, according to KTXS. Both Bradley and Adamson were transported to a local hospital.
