Workers Electrocuted When Flagpole Comes in Contact with Power Line

According to the Herald Democrat, a work crew was attempting to move a flag pole located in front of the apartment complex when wind caused the pole to fall onto a power line.

All three workers were transported to Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center in critical condition, and one of the workers later died of his injuries. The other two were then transported to the burn unit at Medical City Plano.

The scene has since been cleared.
