One Seriously Injured in Annapolis Accident

One person was taken to the hospital after being involved in an accident that happened in Annapolis.

Details about the Motor Vehicle Accident

The Capital Gazette is reporting that Forest Drive between Youngs Farm Road and Gemini Road was closed while emergency personnel responded to the scene of a car accident that sent on person to the hospital.

According to the Annapolis Police Department, the accident was a serious collision and happened at about 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Traffic in both directions was being directed so emergency crews would have the time to work the scene of the collision and clear the wreckage.

An officer stated on Thursday that at least one person was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center to be treated for their injuries, but, as of 4 p.m., there were no fatalities as a result of the accident.
