One Teenager Killed, Two Others Injured in Car-Pedestrian Collision

According to WEARTV, a teenager is killed and two others sent to the hospital after a driver crashes into them in Pensacola, Florida, early Saturday morning.

Charges Pending as Investigation Continues

Nicholas Murphy, 19, Breona Mackoff, 18, and Zachary Meehan, 19, walked north across Navy Boulevard at around midnight when the accident occurred. The teens walked in the crosswalk when a vehicle struck the three pedestrians.

Murphy and Mackoff received treatment at Baptist Hospital with life-threatening injuries. WEARTV reports that Murphy later succumbed to his injuries. Meehan suffered from minor injuries and did not need treatment at a hospital.

According to WEARTV, officials say charges for the driver are pending the completion of the investigation.
