Pedestrian, 21, Struck and Killed by Tractor-trailer in Brooklyn

According to PIX11, a male pedestrian sustains fatal injuries after a tractor-trailer hits him in Brooklyn, New York, on Thursday morning.

Details of Truck-Pedestrian Accident

The 21-year-old pedestrian was walking to his car that was parked on Kent Avenue near S. 10th Street when the fatal collision occurred. According to police, the man was struck by the 18-wheeler traveling north on Kent Avenue at around 11:10 a.m. local time.

The man, whose identity has not been released, was transported to Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in critical condition. According to PIX11, the man would later succumb to his injuries.

Officials say the man was hit by the rear tires of the tractor-trailer, reports PIX11. The truck driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. No charges or arrests have been made at this time.
