Pedestrian, 28, Struck and Killed by Hit-and-run Driver

According to WDRB, a pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle in Trimble County, Kentucky, last month.

Details of Fatal Pedestrian Accident

The hit-and-run crash occurred on Highway 36, on the bridge near School Hollow Road at around 7:40 a.m. local time. Officials say the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, potentially a semi-truck, which drove away following the collision.

The woman was recently identified as 28-year-old Donna Frazier, reports WDRB. The woman was returning toward Carrolton having just been at a souvenir shop in Milton at around 6:30 a.m. Officials say Frazier was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

WDRB reports that officials are reviewing surveillance video that could potentially help identify the vehicle involved in the fatal hit-and-run crash. Officials say the vehicle may have been a tractor-trailer and that the driver may not be aware that Frazier was struck.
