Pedestrian Sustains Life-threatening Injuries after Hit by Semi-truck

According to the Coloradoan, a woman suffered from serious injuries after being struck by a tractor-trailer near a bus stop in southeast Fort Collins, Colorado, on Tuesday afternoon.

Details of the Semi-Pedestrian Accident

The accident occurred at approximately 12:45 p.m. when an 18-wheeler backed over a woman near the intersection of Harmony Road and Ziegler Road. Additional information regarding the cause of the crash is unknown at the time.

The Coloradoan reports that the woman was transported to the Medical Center of the Rockies. The woman suffered from life-threatening injuries in the crash.

Traffic was slow westbound on Harmony Road where emergency crews closed a lane during the investigation, reports the Coloradoan.
