A man from Dallas is listed in critical condition after a skydiving accident in Whitewright on Sunday afternoon, KXII News is reporting.

According to first responders, a 54-year-old Dallas man’s parachute only partially opened, and he landed in a field just north of Barley Road in Fannin County.

The man was then flown to the Plano Medical Center in serious condition. According to Skydive Dallas, the man has 13 years of skydiving experience and has made over 650 jumps.

The Fannin County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the accident. The identity of the man has not been released at this time.
