Pickup Truck Crashes into Bus, One Person Hospitalized

According to FOX4KC, one person was injured in a crash involving a school bus and a pickup truck in Kansas City, Missouri, on Wednesday morning.

Details of Injury Accident

The injury accident occurred at around 6:30 a.m. local time near the intersection of 23rd Street and Van Brunt Boulevard. A collision between the pickup and school bus left the intersection full of broken glass. Officials say only one student was on the school bus when the crash occurred.

The student did not receive any physical injuries, according to FOX4KC. The bus driver was transported to a local hospital as a precaution. Two people inside the pickup truck were uninjured in the crash.

FOX4KC reports that the driver of the pickup truck was taken away by officials in handcuffs, but they did not reveal why. The crash is under investigation.
