Polaris and Suzuki Recall All-Terrain-Vehicles

According to KGWN-TV, Polaris has recalled approximately 9,900 Sportsman 570 all-terrain vehicles due to fire hazard. Additionally, Suzuki has recalled 3,400 KingQuad ATVs due to crash hazard. The Suzuki ATVs’ battery can fail and cause the engine to stop running.

Incidents Related to Recalled ATVs and Consumer Remedies

  • Polaris has received 35 complaints about damaged fuel rails and leaks. No injuries have been reported.
  • Consumers should stop using the vehicles and contact Polaris for a repair.
  • Suzuki has received six reports of battery discharge or restart failure. No injuries have been reported.
  • Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled ATVS and contact their local dealers.

About the Recalled Sportsman 570 ATVs and KingQuad ATVs

  • The Polaris recall applies to Sportsman 570 Touring and X2 model ATVs with the model year 2014-2016. It applies to Sportsman 570 6×6 model ATVs with the model year 2017.
  • The recalled ATVs have one or two seats and four or six tires.
  • Model types and “Sportsman” are printed on the side of the steering column; “Polaris” is printed on the front.
  • The vehicles are sold in several colors.
  • The Suzuki recall applies to LT-A750X and LT-A750XP KingQuad ATVs with the model year 2016 and 2017.
  • The vehicles have “Suzuki KingQuad” and “4×4 750AXi” printed on the sides.
  • The model number can be found on the hang tag.
  • The vehicles come in red, green, camouflage, and black.
