400,000 Nissan Vehicles Recalled for Braking System Faults
394,025 Nissan cars were voluntarily recalled by the Japanese motor company due to braking system defects across the United States.
About the Braking System Recalls
According to Reuters, a major worry among Nissan manufacturers and consumers alike stemming from the faulty brake systems is the possibility of brake fluid leaks causing vehicle fires; although, the actual reality of fire incidents has been reported as “rare” by Nissan.
If the brake fluids were to seep into vehicle circuit boards, a warning alert would be sent to driver notifying them of the possible fire hazard. Nissan automakers revealed that ignoring this critical warning could expedite the situation by causing an electrical short in the actuator circuit.
Fortunately, a solution to this hazard is being worked upon and car owners will be notified soon. Once the notice is made available, car owners should bring their vehicles to Nissan dealers or INFINTI retailers to have repairs done.
