Harley-Davidson Issues Recall for 57,000 Motorcycles

Harley-Davidson has issued a recall for 57,000 motorcycles due to oil lines that can come loose, spilling oil into the path of the rear tire.

About the Harley-Davidson Oil Spill Recall

According to NBC Boston, Harley claims the defect may be a result of a clamp on an engine oil cooler line not being installed correctly.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has received nine reports of oil lines coming off. Two of the instances resulted in crashes.

Dealers will inspect the clamps and repair them free of charge. Repairs are expected to take about 30 minutes.
