A man from Little River-Academy was killed in a motor vehicle accident on Monday evening.

Details about the Fatal Accident

The Temple Daily Telegram is reporting that a 25-year-old passenger from Little River-Academy was killed in a traffic accident that happened on Monday evening, according to authorities.

The Texas Department of Public Safety has revealed that 25-year-old Travis Mireles was a passenger in a 2006 Dodge pickup truck that was hit on Old Highway 95 and FM 93. For reasons unknown at this time, the driver pulled out in front of a 2011 Dodge pickup truck and was T-boned. The victim’s brother, 17-year-old Jacob Mireles, was taken to the McLane Children’s Scott and White Hospital in Temple.

The driver of the other vehicle was treated for his injuries at the scene of the accident and then released.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
