Mac and Cheese Dinner Cups Recalled — Health Hazard
Fourth Street Barbecue Inc. / Packing Division, an American meat packing company, has recalled two brands of prepared and packaged macaroni and cheese, due to a health hazard.
About the Mac and Cheese Recall
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the powdered cheese packets may contain milk powder ingredients previously recalled by Valley Milk Products, LLC which have potentially been contaminated with Salmonella, which can cause nausea, diarrhea, abdominal cramping and fever.
While no illnesses have been officially reported to date, FDA recommends that consumers avoid consuming these products and contact Fourth Street Barbecue Inc. / Packing Division via phone at 1-724-483-2056 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST., for a replacement or refund.

- This recall involves Cheese Club Express Mac and Cheese 4 cup dinner and Double Takes Macaroni and Cheese 2 cup dinner.
- The Cheese Cup Express Mac and Cheese 4 cup dinner product has an expiration date of 10/18/2017, 10/21/2017 and 10/22/2017, with a UPC of 41498171674.
- The Double Takes Macaroni and Cheese 2 cup dinner product has an expiration date of 10/11/2017, 10/12/2017, 10/13/2017, 10/19/2017, 10/20/2017, 10/24/2017, 11/28/2017, 11/29/2017, and 11/30/2017, with a UPC of 63927701208.
- These dinner cups were distributed nationwide through retail stores, specifically the Cheese Club Express to Aldi’s and the Double Takes Macaroni to Dollar Tree.
